本日は鶴嶋浩二国際理事就任式典に、急なご案内にもかかわらず、このように多くの皆さまにご出席をいただきまして本当にありがとうございます。

I would like to express my sincere gratitudeグラティテュード to so many of you for attending the inauguration ceremony for International Director Koji Tsurushima today.

MD331を代表して心より感謝とお礼を申し上げます。

本日の式典には、札幌市より秋元克広市長、ライオンズクラブ国際協会よりブライアン・シーハンLCIF理事長、ロリ夫人、そして国内からは、私が最も尊敬する山田實紘PIP初め、現・元　国際役員の皆さま、日本ライオンズ役員の皆さま、
そして各地より多数のライオンズクラブメンバーの皆さまにご参加いただいております。
本当にありがとうございます。

Dear International Officers, Japan Lions Officers,
Many Lions Club members from all over the country.

今回の国際理事就任は、山田PIPのお言葉を借りると「この100年の歴史の中で前例のなかった異例の就任」ということです。
PIP Yamada said that this appointment as an international director was “an unprecedentedアン-プレシデン-テッド appointment in our 100-year history.”
　
就任決定まで多くの困難と慎重な選択がなされたと推察いたしますが、同時に鶴嶋浩二国際理事の長年にわたる精力的な活動が評価されたものとMD331としても大変名誉なことと受け止めております。
There were many difficulties leading up to this decisionディシジョン.
I think they thought carefully.
At the same time, I believe that International Director Koji Tsurushima’s energeticエナジェティク activities over many years have been recognizedレコグナイズド.
As MD331, we considerコンシダー this a great honor.

そして、この期待に応えるべくMD331としても全員で、新しい時代に即応した2025年オセアルフォーラム　イン　サッポロを成功に導き、
All of us at MD331 will lead the 2025 Océal Forum in Sapporo, which is responsive to the new era, to success.

そして、その先の国際大会を見据えた力強い活動を推進することでMD331の活性化、また、日本ライオンズの、ライオンズ国際協会のさらなる発展につながるよう鶴嶋浩二国際理事を先頭に全力で取り組む覚悟です。
We will also promote powerful activities with an eye to the upcoming international competitionコンペティション.
So MD331 becomes active.
We will also work to develop Lions Japan and Lions International Association.
We will do our best to appoint International Director Koji Tsurushima as our head.

とは申しましても、本日ご参会の皆さまのお力なしでは成功することはできません。
